This painting was inspired by a unique geological phenomenon: shocked quartz. This type of rock is formed under intense pressure, usually a meteorite impact, but has been found in rare cases from lightning strikes. I think it is important to know that sometimes suffering and hardship can be a way to purify your soul, creating something beautiful.
